Factors including concurrent water-power, thin layer dewatering, proper pressure and dewatering path extension etc. were applied by the dewatering mechanism of multi-plate screw press. Lower energy / water consumption and longer service life can realized without changing the properties of the feed materials and with high efficiencymulti-plate screw press can be widely used in municipal waste water treatment engineerings as well as the industrial wastewater treatment systems such as petrochemical processing, light industry, chemical fiber, paper-making, pharmacy and leather etc. The multi-plate screw press, as proven by the practical applications, can help to make considerable economic and social benefits for customers.


Structural principle

The laminated screw sludge dewaterer integrates automatic control cabinet, flocculation and conditioning tank, sludge concentration and dewatering body and liquid collecting tank. The main body is a filter device formed by a fixed ring and a swimming ring overlapping each other and a spiral shaft running through them. The former part is the concentrated part and the latter part is the dehydration part. The filter gap formed between the fixed ring and the swimming ring and the pitch of the spiral shaft gradually decreases from the concentrating part to the dewatering part. The spiral shaft continuously drives the ring to clean the filter gap to prevent clogging. The rotation of the screw shaft promotes the sludge to be transported from the concentrated part to the dewatering part, at the same time, and under the blocking effect of the back pressure plate, it produces a great internal pressure, and the volume is shrinking continuously, so as to achieve the purpose of full dewatering.

*The above processing capacity refers to the reference value of the water content of the dewatered mud cake below 85%.

*There is no upper limit for sludge concentration, but the prerequisite is fluidity.

*Sludge and pressurized floating sludge can be used to treat oily sludge such as meat processing plants.

*The pretreatment ability of mixed sludge and aerobic digestive sludge is based on the premise that the content of fibre substance (200 mesh) in sludge is more than 30%.

*The above treatment capacity refers to the reference value when only one kind of flocculant is added. If two kinds of flocculants need to be added to sludge, please consult our company for details.
